I have submitted a resume, now what?

You will receive an automated email confirmation letting you know your resume has been successfully received. If a recruiter or hiring manager would like to move forward, you will be contacted directly.

There are multiple opportunities that I am interested in; can I submit my resume for all of them?

If you are interested in and qualified for multiple opportunities, we encourage you to submit your resume for those positions. We recommend you review your resume to ensure it accurately reflects your relevant experience for each of those positions.

I know someone at Intuitive Surgical; should I submit my resume to him/her instead of online?

It is recommended that you reach out to your contacts that are working at Intuitive Surgical to learn more about our company and current opportunities. In doing so, feel free to provide him/her with a copy of your resume, but please submit your formal interest via the career site. You are welcome to identify an employee as the referring person.

I have interviewed in person at other companies and have never heard back. Will that happen with Intuitive Surgical?

At Intuitive Surgical we strive to create a positive candidate experience. While we cannot contact every individual who submits a resume, we make it our goal to personally contact anyone who has taken their time to interview with the company.

I would like to learn more about the company before submitting my resume. Where can I find company information?

We encourage candidates to learn as much as possible about the company throughout the process. Intuitive Surgical has a number of websites, such as IntuitiveSurgical.com and daVinciSurgery.com, where you can learn more about our products and clinical procedures.

I applied for a position and did not receive an offer for employment. What can I do to be sure I am notified of future opportunities?

We will maintain your resume in our database, but it is recommended that you set up a job agent from within your user account on our career site. You will receive an email notification whenever opportunities become available that match your criteria. You are also welcome to set up multiple agents.

I discovered an opportunity that is perfect for my friend. How can I submit his/her resume?

Word of mouth is still one of the most powerful forms of communication and we appreciate your desire to connect your friend with a great opportunity. Within our Career site you can use the "Send Job to a Friend" tool to share the job posting with him/her.
